Good: The D-Link DGL-5500 Gaming Router AC1300's StreamBoost feature that intelligently prioritizes Internet bandwidth for gaming and real-time online applications.
Bad: The router lacks support for DynDNS and has a confusing interface. Performance is disappointing, especially compared with that of similarly priced routers.
Bottom Line: The DGL-5500 has a lot of potential, but for now isn't worth its high price. [Read more]

Good: Yelp for Windows Phone is fast and is easy to use to find businesses nearby.
Bad: You can't search for businesses based on map area, as you can do on Yelp.com and other Yelp apps.
Bottom Line: Yelp is worth downloading for its massive database of reviews that help you decide if that hole-in-the-wall joint or five-star hotel is worth it. [Read more]

Good: The KEF M500 on-ear headphones are sleekly and sturdily designed and offer a very comfortable fit. They also sound very good and come with two detachable cords, one of which has an Apple-friendly inline remote/microphone for smartphone use. The headphones fold up and fit into an attractive protective carrying case.
Bad: Fairly expensive; some people may not find the sound detailed enough.
Bottom Line: They're fairly pricey, but the combination of very good sound and a sleek, comfortable design, make the KEF M500s contenders in the $300 price class. [Read more]

Navigon USA & CAN (Android)

User Rating:
Good: The locally stored Navteq maps allow the Navigon app for Android to navigate and route even without a data connection. Excellent routing algorithms made us feel confident that the app would get us where we were going.
Bad: There's no built-in voice input and no easily accessible shortcuts to Google's Voice Search. The menu and search interfaces are frustrating and require too much of the driver's attention.
Bottom Line: The Navigon app for Android brings the quality maps and routes that we expect from a Garmin-branded navigation product, but the interface spoils the experience. [Read more]
