Good: The Huawei Premia 4G has a stellar off-contract price for an Android 4.0 phone and a pretty good 5-megapixel camera.
Bad: Short battery life and mediocre call quality are the Huawei Premia 4G's most major offenses.
Bottom Line: Although the price and features are right, MetroPCS sells a better Android phone. Skip the Huawei Premia 4G in favor of LG's Motion 4G. [Read more]

Good: The affordable HiFiMan RE-400s have an attractive, understated design with machined aluminum ear pieces. They're lightweight and comfortable to wear and offer exceptionally pure and refined sound.
Bad: No inline remote/microphone for cell phone calls; no protective carrying case included.
Bottom Line: While they're light on extras, the well-priced HiFiMan RE-400s offer excellent, accurate sound that's aimed at audiophiles on a budget. [Read more]

Good: With the addition of Chat Heads, Facebook Messenger makes it even easier to chat with Facebook contacts, even outside of the app. It can also act as the primary interface for your text messages as well (if you let it).
Bad: No voice or video calling. No switching between SMS and Facebook chat in the middle of a conversation. And no search function.
Bottom Line: It may not perfectly integrate SMS just yet, but Facebook Messenger is still the best way to chat with Facebook friends from your Android device. [Read more]

Good: The 2013 Mitsubishi Lancer SE features a four-wheel-drive system that can be switched through three modes. The Fuse option adds good device connectivity through Bluetooth and a USB port.
Bad: The cabin design falls below that of the competition; a CVT is the only transmission option; the navigation system looks a little rough for its price.
Bottom Line: Among the stiff economy car competition, the 2013 Mitsubishi Lancer SE sets itself apart only by its impressive all-wheel-drive system, a feature with limited appeal. [Read more]
