Good: The F Sport package on the 2013 Lexus GS 350 includes an adjustable suspension, improving handling. The navigation system uses a 12.3-inch LCD, the current largest for a production car. Lexus' Enform system integrates Yelp, Bing search, Pandora, and other apps.
Bad: Real-world fuel economy averaged under 20 mpg. The cabin tech interface controller lacked the heft that should be present in a luxury vehicle.
Bottom Line: The 2013 Lexus GS 350 makes for a convincing high-tech cruiser. With the F Sport package, it has some real performance chops, although it falls short of a BMW M or Mercedes-Benz AMG. [Read more]

Good: The Samsung HMX-W300's small, slim rugged body lets you take it where other minicamcorders or your smartphone can't go. It's easy to use and has a few extra features that make it a very good value.
Bad: The W300's video quality -- in or out of water -- is only good enough for Web use and not much better than the typical smartphone.
Bottom Line: The Samsung HMX-W300 rugged minicamcorder is a good traveling companion for capturing Web-friendly movie clips and photos of your next hike or beach trip. [Read more]
