Good: The Audio-Technica ATH-M35 Headphones offer good build quality and detailed, natural sound with good bass. They're also very comfortable, have a fold-up design, and are a bargain at around $60.
Bad: There's no integrated microphone for making cell phone calls; extra-long cord makes the headphones less suitable for mobile use; cord isn't detachable.
Bottom Line: While they're not in the same league as the step-up ATH-M50, the Audio-Technica ATH-M35 costs a lot less and offers impressive performance and decent build quality for the money -- plus it has the fold-up element that's missing from the ATH-M30. [Read more]

Good: The 2012 Toyota Prius delivers stellar fuel economy without requiring much effort on the part of the driver. The smartphone-connected Entune system brings live destination search, traffic data, and Pandora streaming to the dashboard. Voice command tech and intuitive steering-wheel controls help to keep eyes on the road.
Bad: The infotainment system locks the user out of most navigation and calling functions while the vehicle is in motion. The car's touch screen is prone to bad glare with a minimal amount of sunlight, and too many warning screens pop up when you try to use Entune.
Bottom Line: The 2012 Toyota Prius just works, delivering outstanding fuel economy, good cabin-tech options, and a comfortable ride with few compromises. [Read more]

Good: The MakerBot Replicator is the most fully-featured consumer 3D printer thanks to its dual-extruder print head and the largest print platform in its category.
Bad: 3D printing can offer a steep learning curve thanks to early-stage technology and fragmented, obtuse software, and $1,999 printer is a lot to pay to navigate that experience.
Bottom Line: For those willing to invest the time and the money, the MakerBot Replicator will provide the most powerful consumer 3D printing experience available. [Read more]
