Good: At current prices, it takes less than $20 to fill the tank of the 2012 Honda Civic Natural Gas, and it produces significantly fewer harmful emissions and greenhouse gasses than its gasoline equivalent models.
Bad: Power takes a hit with natural gas, and the tanks take up more room, yet provide less range, than in a similar gasoline model. The navigation system's maps look rough.
Bottom Line: The 2012 Honda Civic Natural Gas works well as an economical commute car and errand runner, but its average cabin tech falls far short of the cutting edge. [Read more]

Good: The MEElectronics A151 earphones offer comfortable fit and very detailed sound for an affordable price. They also come with a carrying case.
Bad: No integrated microphone for making cell phone calls; bass-lovers will probably find the bass a little too thin for their tastes.
Bottom Line: At around $50 online, the MEElectronics A151s are among the most affordable balanced-armature earphones out there and deliver very good sound for the money. [Read more]

Good: The Lenovo IdeaPad Y480 offers desktop-replacement power in a midsize laptop, with a discrete GPU and Intel's new quad-core third-generation Core processors.
Bad: All this power is paired with a lower-resolution screen, killing the high-end vibe.
Bottom Line: The IdeaPad Y480 gets you Lenovo's excellent construction quality and ergonomic design without having a "business" laptop, but some more configuration flexibility would be appreciated. [Read more]

Wacom Bamboo Stylus duo

Good: The Wacom Bamboo Stylus duo has pen and stylus features in a comfortable, weighted barrel; ink cartridges are easily replaced, and the stylus tip feels silky-smooth.
Bad: The pen cap needs to be on the back of the stylus to really feel good in the hand as a pen; $40 might be too much for some to pay.
Bottom Line: Wacom's smooth, elegant stylus for capacitive tablets is one of the best we've seen, and adding a pen to the end only makes it more useful: just be prepared to pay an extra 10 dollars for the privilege. [Read more]

Good: The Nikon Coolpix L810 is an inexpensive 26x megazoom point-and-shoot that's easy to use and runs on AA batteries.
Bad: The L810 performs poorly in low light and indoors, and its shooting performance is slow as is its autofocus.
Bottom Line: A cheap camera with a wide, long lens and AA batteries, the Nikon Coolpix L810 has little else going for it. [Read more]
