Good: The YouTube app for iPhone is a great way to keep up with channels you follow, video discovery, and just about everything you get on the YouTube Web site.
Bad: There is currently no iPad version of the app. While the Web site is always an option, having the same functionality of the app on the iPad would be much better.
Bottom Line: Now that as of iOS 6 there's no longer a dedicated YouTube app on the iPhone home screen, iPhone users should definitely download this app for an even better experience than previous versions. [Read more]

Good: The Sennheiser RS 220 is a large, full-size headphone that uses advanced DSSS lossless wireless technology for exceptional sound quality.
Bad: The RS 220's shiny black plastic construction doesn't jive with its lofty price tag and the digital connection doesn't work with Dolby or DTS audio signals.
Bottom Line: The Sennheiser RS 220 headphones is one the best-sounding wireless headphones on the market, but its super sonics don't offset its ambitious price tag when other models in the same line offer similar performance for less. [Read more]

Good: The 2013 BMW M5 uses uses active dampers and an active, locking differential to help it corner like a rabbit, while its engine and dual-clutch transmission give the driver excellent power control. A head-up display and collision warning promote safety, while the navigation system provides sure guidance. The audio system delivers outstanding music reproduction.
Bad: The M5's fuel economy earns it a gas-guzzler tax. Taking the car out of M mode is needlessly complex.
Bottom Line: With its power and high-tech handling, the 2013 BMW M5's potential feels wasted on public roads, yet its driver-assistance and cabin-tech systems are the best in the business for road trips and daily commutes. [Read more]

Good: The 2012 Hyundai Sonata's turbocharger adds a substantial amount of power. The optional navigation system is simple, yet effective. Bluetooth calling and most digital audio sources are standard. The voice command system is quite good and the addition of BlueLink telematics rounds out the dashboard tech.
Bad: No manual transmission available on this "sporty" SE model. Navigation maps don't feature a 3D view. Observed fuel economy left much to be desired.
Bottom Line: With more power and more tech, the 2012 Hyundai Sonata SE 2.0T offers a lot of bang for your buck. [Read more]

Good: Google Drive has sharing options galore. It's great at viewing all types of Google documents.
Bad: It needs more editing power, specifically in the spreadsheet department. There is no security passcode option.
Bottom Line: Despite its shortcomings, Google Drive is a must-have download, as it does an excellent job of integrating cloud storage and file-syncing with Google Docs functionality. [Read more]

Good: The Kindle Fire HD has a most impressive-looking 7-inch tablet screen, its speakers deliver killer sound, and its refined interface is the best gateway to Amazon content for Prime members. New enhancements fill its $200 price to the brim with value.
Bad: Performance is sluggish at times and the Fire HD is less comfortable to hold than the Nexus 7. The curated app store means many apps and games are not available. There's a $15 opt-out for ads.
Bottom Line: With a beautiful screen, refined interface, and huge coffer of media consumption options, the Amazon Kindle Fire HD is the Kindle Fire as it should have been. [Read more]
