Good: U.S. Cellular's LG Splendor is an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich device with a zippy processor, a bright display, and a thin build.
Bad: The Splendor's 3G data speeds are slow, its output speaker is poor, and its camera quality is mediocre.
Bottom Line: The LG Splendor doesn't have the fastest network connection, but it's an affordable and snappy handset that's loaded with Android 4.0 and a swift CPU. [Read more]

Good: The Twitter apps for iOS are great at all of your basic Twitter operations, like posting photos, mentioning users, and adding location tags.
Bad: There are no scheduled tweets or filtering of Trends. Snippets of rich content are only displayed for links to partner sites.
Bottom Line: The official Twitter apps for iOS offer reliable performance and slick design, but power users may find themselves wanting more. [Read more]

Good: The LG PA6500 is an inexpensive plasma with natural-looking colors and solid bright-room quality. Image processing is a highlight, with correct 24p response mating well with the full 1080p resolution. This LG has a living-room-friendly appearance and it's easy to use as well.
Bad: The LG evinced some of the lightest, least realistic black levels in its class. Colors lack some of the saturation found in the TV's peers, and it showed more temporary image retention. The LG suffers from solarization, which manifests as distinct bands in gradated colors.
Bottom Line: The LG PA6500 is a decent plasma television if you'll have nothing less than 1080p for cheap, but it's not the best value at this level. [Read more]
