Good: The iPhone 5 adds everything we wanted in the iPhone 4S: 4G LTE, a longer, larger screen, and a faster A6 processor. Plus, its top-to-bottom redesign is sharp, slim, and feather-light.
Bad: Sprint and Verizon models can't use voice and data simultaneously. The smaller connector renders current accessories unusable without an adapter. There's no NFC, and the screen size pales in comparison to jumbo Android models.
Bottom Line: The iPhone 5 completely rebuilds the iPhone on a framework of new features and design, addressing its major previous shortcomings. It's absolutely the best iPhone to date, and it easily secures its place in the top tier of the smartphone universe. [Read more]

Good: The 2013 Audi S5 integrates Google Earth with its navigation system, offers an excellent-sounding Bang & Olufsen audio system, and features very useful voice command. Quattro all-wheel drive and other performance gear lend to fun sport driving.
Bad: The power steering feels overboosted even in its most aggressive setting. Connected features lack social networking or music apps.
Bottom Line: The 2013 Audi S5 demonstrates an excellent array of tech both in the cabin and under the hood, making it one of the most enjoyable all-around driving cars available. [Read more]

Bad: Audio from the space-saving NXT speaker is good, but not great.
Bottom Line: The Parrot Minikit Neo combines the great call quality that we've come to expect from Parrot devices with advanced technologies that make it safer to use and easier to live with. [Read more]

Good: The Lensbaby Spark is a cheap, entertaining way to do special effects the old-fashioned way.
Bad: Areas of focus aren't extremely sharp when viewed at full size.
Bottom Line: A fun-to-use lens system, the Lensbaby Spark's low price makes it a great add-on for entry-level dSLR users who want to try their hands at special effects sans filters. [Read more]

Good: Lighter and less bulky than other boom-style headsets, the Plantronics Voyager Legend has superb audio quality and a well-crafted, comfortable design.
Bad: The Plantronics Voyager Legend's big boom mic arm isn't compact. Its ear tips don't form a tight audio seal.
Bottom Line: The $99.99 Plantronics Voyager Legend big boom microphone isn't for the fashion conscious but its superb call audio quality and comfortable fit make it an excellent buy. [Read more]
