Good: The GoPro Wi-Fi BacPac + Wi-Fi Remote Combo Kit gives a user complete control over a connected GoPro camera. The Wi-Fi BacPac's internal battery helps to conserve the battery life of the main camera. Up to 50 cameras can be controlled with additional BacPac purchases. Upcoming smartphone/tablet apps will further boost functionality.
Bad: This kit adds two more devices that need recharging between sessions.
Bottom Line: The GoPro Wi-Fi Combo Kit includes everything you need to upgrade your GoPro camera for fully wireless operation. [Read more]

BlackBerry Curve 3G 9310 Social Messaging Ready (Verizon Wireless)

Good: The BlackBerry Curve 9310 is contract-free, has an excellent keyboard, and great audio quality.
Bad: The Curve 9310's camera quality is mediocre, it's missing a lot of key features touted in BlackBerry 7.1, and its sticker price is high for a phone of its class.
Bottom Line: The BlackBerry Curve 9310 is still the same ho-hum handset you can expect from RIM, but for a no-contract BlackBerry, it's reliable and makes texting a breeze. [Read more]

Smart Wireless Headset Pro

Good: The Sony Smart Wireless Headset Pro offers pleasing stereo sound from phones over Bluetooth. It displays phone-based text messages and e-mail, and acts as a hands-free headset. It also works as a standalone MP3 player and storage drive.
Bad: The Smart Wireless Headset is saddled with an unwieldy headset cord. Its power button is oddly placed and hard to press.
Bottom Line: Performing smartphone Bluetooth tricks, Sony's Smart Wireless Headset Pro sounds like a bright idea but doesn't follow through. [Read more]

Asus Zenbook UX31A

Good: The Asus Zenbook UX32A has the sharp design of other Zenbooks we've reviewed, but is even slimmer.
Bad: Other ultrabooks offer similar components for less, while spending a bit more will get you a much more full-featured Zenbook.
Bottom Line: Stuck between a budget model and a high-end, feature-filled model, this middle Asus Zenbook is a slim, slick ultrabook, but also a tough sell. [Read more]

Toshiba Satellite U845W-S410

Good: A clean design, impressive-sounding speakers, an extra-large 14.4-inch wide-screen display, and good battery life make the Toshiba Satellite U845W a solid ultrabook with some notable extras.
Bad: That extrawide screen, when it works with movie files, can be fun; but many streaming video services don't play nicely, and the U845W lacks a DVD player. The screen height is smaller than the average 13-inch laptop, and the keyboard is not that comfortable.
Bottom Line: The media-geared Toshiba Satellite U845W has an extrawide 21:9 screen and Harman-Kardon speakers, but no DVD or Blu-ray player. The screen is a novelty act that offers some benefits, but it's really no better than your standard laptop for most uses. [Read more]

User Rating:
Good: The Panasonic RP-HTX7s are affordable entry-level over-the ear headphones that fit comfortably, are relatively lightweight, and sound very good for the money. They also don't leak sound, and their retro styling is more hit than miss.
Bad: They're slightly brash; there's no integrated microphone for making cell phone calls.
Bottom Line: While their sound and design may not appeal to everyone, the Panasonic RP-HTX7s are excellent entry-level over-the-ear headphones that are a good bargain. [Read more]

Vizio M3D470KD

Good: The Vizio M3D0KD produces some of the deepest black levels and most accurate color of any LED TV this year, and does it for a bargain price. Its passive TV was brighter than many active sets and virtually crosstalk-free. The Smart TV suite has plenty of content and the remote has plenty of capabilities. Vizio includes four pairs of 3D glasses.
Bad: Variable black levels, blooming, and lackluster video processing hurt the Vizio's picture quality to some extent. Its passive 3D showed occasional artifacts and moving lines. The TV's design is ho-hum and the bricklike remote annoying to use.
Bottom Line: Very good picture quality and an extremely aggressive price make the Vizio M3D0KD one of the best LED TV values on the market. [Read more]
