Good: The Boombot2 has a trendy and quirky design, is Bluetooth-enabled, and clips on for easy portability.
Bad: The Boombot2's bass quality is poor and its unique build looks awkward and chunky when attached to a belt loop.
Bottom Line: Though not for hardcore audiophiles, the Boombot2 is a fun wireless speaker good for a young and active consumer. [Read more]

Good: The 2012 Ford Focus Sedan SE delivered good fuel economy during our highway-heavy testing. Ford Sync and MyFord steering-wheel controls are easy to understand and help you keep your hands on the wheel while driving. Voice command for audio source selection and hands-free calling are available.
Bad: Audio quality from the six-speaker system leaves a bit to be desired. The version of Ford Sync that supports AppLink isn't available in this car.
Bottom Line: The 2012 Ford Focus Sedan SE is a good value, delivering simple yet effective cabin tech and efficient performance without lots of distracting frills. [Read more]

Good: The Western Digital My Net N900 Central dual-band router offers a great combination of fast Wi-Fi speed, a nice networking feature set, and a useful network storage solution.
Bad: The My Net N900 Central's internal hard drive can't be replaced and the router doesn't support Time Machine. The router doesn't support the new 802.11ac standard, either.
Bottom Line: The Western Digital My Net N900 Central makes an excellent all-in-one wireless and network storage solution for home and mobile users. [Read more]

Good: The Kodak EasyShare Z5010 is an inexpensive megazoom camera that's simple to use and runs on AA-size batteries.
Bad: The Z5010 needs plenty of light to take a good photo and its shooting performance is on the slow side.
Bottom Line: If you want a camera that uses AA batteries and has a long zoom lens for a low price, pick up a Kodak EasyShare Z5010 before they're gone for good. [Read more]

User Rating:
Good: The LifeProof is a sleek, highly protective iPhone 4/4S case that's been engineered very well and makes your iPhone waterproof and able to withstand falls from decent heights. It holds up well over time and several optional accessories are available for it.
Bad: It's pretty pricey and using wired headphones with it requires you connect an adapter, which is a nuisance. Replacement headphone adapters are expensive.
Bottom Line: While it's fairly costly and requires an included adapter for headphones, the LifeProof is arguably the best tough iPhone case on the market. [Read more]

Ion Audio iCade Mobile

User Rating:
Good: The iCade Mobile's buttons work responsively, and the accessory does indeed add physical controls to your iPhone or iPod Touch.
Bad: The unit is bulky, the buttons feel cheap, and the list of supported games is limited. Also, there isn't an analog pad for more modern shooters.
Bottom Line: The iCade Mobile's a retro gaming oddity for the iPhone that adds physical buttons, but for a lofty $70 price. Its lack of universal compatibility, lack of analog sticks, and large size relegate it to strictly novelty status. [Read more]

Sony Vaio S Series SVS1511AGXB

User Rating:
Good: Powerful, thin, and reasonably lightweight, the Sony Vaio S includes a quad-core CPU, Blu-ray, and a good package of preinstalled software.
Bad: This is still an expensive laptop that's caught in the middle, with other premium laptops outperforming it, and less expensive ones catching up in terms of design. Also, the touch pad felt especially finicky.
Bottom Line: The 15-inch Sony Vaio S does gaming, Blu-ray, and a lot more, all while keeping the design thin and light. [Read more]
