Good: The Hisense Sero 7 LT has a Mini-HDMI port, expandable storage, and a competitive $99 price tag.
Bad: The Sero 7 LT has a low-resolution and inconsistently responsive touch screen, lacks Bluetooth and GPS capabilities, has a low internal capacity, and restarts unexpectedly.
Bottom Line: The Hisense Sero 7 LT isn't worth your money -- skip it and go for its more robust counterpart, the Pro, instead. [Read more]

Good: The Samsung SEK-1000 Evolution Kit fully upgrades the Smart TV features of a high-end 2012 Samsung TV to 2013's best-in-class levels. Excellent touch-pad remote; relatively simply DIY installation; doesn't affect TV's shape or appearance.
Bad: Only works with a few high-end Samsung TVs; somewhat expensive; cable box control scheme still inadequate for heavy DVR users.
Bottom Line: While a cool idea and an innovative way to somewhat ward against Smart TV obsolescence, the 2013 Evolution Kit is definitely a niche product. [Read more]

Good: A compact magnesium-alloy body and sturdy design make the EliteBook Revolve 810 a great laptop to work on.
Bad: Disappointing battery life, a high price, and slightly thicker body than more consumer-targeted systems.
Bottom Line: HP's EliteBook Revolve 810 is a good first step toward a very portable business laptop/tablet hybrid, but lack of a killer battery life hurts it. [Read more]
