Plantronics BackBeat Go 2 + Charging Case (Black) Posted: 24 Jul 2013 11:31 PM PDT Editor's Rating: User Rating: Good: The lightweight, reasonably priced Plantronics BackBeat Go 2 wireless stereo headset improves upon the Go 1, with better sound quality and a sweatproof design, The step-up BackBeat Go 2 + Charging Case includes a protective case that has a built-in battery for charging on the go. 2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK250 BlueTEC Posted: 24 Jul 2013 11:08 PM PDT Editor's Rating: User Rating: Good: With its diesel engine, the 2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK250 gets fuel economy in the low 30s and comes standard with all-wheel-drive. The navigation system's route guidance is very easy to follow, and Mercedes-Benz makes a good package of driver assistance features available. Bad: The Mercedes-Benz Apps feature takes too long to load, and the electronics interface is due for a revamp. Acceleration is considerably slower than that of the GLK250's gasoline counterpart. Bottom Line: Featuring excellent fuel economy and a generally comfortable and easy-driving character, the 2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK250 makes for a useful all-around vehicle, good for the daily commute and family road trips. Posted: 24 Jul 2013 04:01 AM PDT Editor's Rating: User Rating: Good: The Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphone's camera captures extremely high-resolution images with fine detail, and puts creative controls at your fingertips. Bad: A niche device, the Lumia 1020 is $100 pricier than most high-end smartphones. The lens makes it a little bulky. Multiple camera apps are confusing. It lacks manual f-stop control and presets for common shooting scenarios. Bottom Line: Avid mobile photographers will love the Nokia Lumia 1020's exact controls, but casual users should stick to cheaper camera phones. [Read more] |
