Good: The Microsoft Surface Pro fits a full ultrabook experience in a compact 10-inch tablet. Thanks to the ingenious Type and Touch covers, it offers a comfortable interface and typing experience. The clean, crisp design and sharp 1080p screen rise above the competition.
Bad: The battery life is disappointing, and more ports would be nice. The 64GB model barely has any free storage. It costs as much as a regular laptop, especially because the cool keyboard cover isn't included by default.
Bottom Line: The Surface Pro's gutsy design successfully reinvents the Windows 8 laptop by cramming an ultrabook experience into the body of a 10-inch tablet. Those wanting to go all-in on the tablet experience won't regret buying the Surface Pro, but we're holding out for a future, more polished generation of the device. [Read more]

2013 Ford Taurus

Good: The big, comfortable 2013 Ford Taurus features a well-tuned and fuel-efficient electric power-steering system, along with a host of driver assistance features that help prevent collisions, and automatically park. An advanced voice command system gives control over navigation, phone, and stereo.
Bad: The MyFord Touch cabin tech suite reacts sluggishly to touch controls, and the navigation system is prone to poor GPS reception.
Bottom Line: The 2013 Ford Taurus presents cabin technology rich in features, from navigation to automatic parallel parking, in an easy-driving large sedan package, but the sluggish touch-screen response can be aggravating. [Read more]

Carbon for Twitter (Android)

User Rating:
Good: Visually, Carbon is stunning. Also, it supports multiple accounts, auto-completes usernames, has no ads, and it is free.
Bad: The app's 15-minute refresh rate may not cut it for big Twitter users. Lack of built-in browser is disappointing. No landscape mode, really?
Bottom Line: Carbon is beautiful and runs like a dream. But its developers still need to work on a few key features. [Read more]

Sennheiser Momentum

Good: The Sennheiser Momentum headphones are an elegant full-size over-the-ear pair featuring a brushed stainless-steel headband and plush, leather-covered earpads. Sound and build quality are excellent, and the headphones come with a nice carrying case, as well as two cables, one of which has an Apple-friendly in-line remote and microphone.
Bad: The Momentum headphones are pricey and don't fold flat for compact storage.
Bottom Line: The Sennheiser Momentum headphones may not have enough bass to satisfy every taste, but they are in every other way the best-sounding full-size audiophile headphones we've heard in a long time. [Read more]

Vizio E500i-A1

User Rating:
Good: The Vizio E0i-A1 shows relatively deep black levels, a uniform screen, and commendable bright-room performance, making it a solid midlevel LCD TV. The Smart content selection is excellent. With its thin bezel, the set has a more compact, sleeker look than many competitors.
Bad: The set's local-dimming LED backlight and so-called 120Hz refresh rate do nothing to improve picture quality, making the E-Series a less impressive value than it might first appear.
Bottom Line: Despite being unable to fulfill the expectations raised by its specification sheet, the Vizio E-Series remains a good choice if you value its Smarts and styling. [Read more]

User Rating:
Good: Winamp for Android offers crisp sound quality and simple playback controls. The Wi-Fi sync feature is convenient, so long as your connection doesn't get interrupted.
Bad: The interface is depressingly unattractive, and the Wi-Fi sync feature needs improvement.
Bottom Line: If its Wi-Fi sync feature were better designed and more reliable, Winamp would be a worthwhile download. As it stands, it's just a good music player that is not particularly impressive. [Read more]

Belkin iPad Mini keyboard case (black)

User Rating:
Good: The Belkin Portable Keyboard Case for iPad Mini is trim and stylish, it's easy to pair via Bluetooth, and it offers long battery life. Also, the keys are hard and relatively tactile.
Bad: The keyboard is a little cramped and there's no dedicated apostrophe/quotation key. It doubles the weight of your iPad Mini.
Bottom Line: The Belkin iPad Mini Keyboard Case is one of the better keyboard cases currently available for the Mini -- but it does have its shortcomings. [Read more]
