Good: Bing Translator for Windows Phone 8 comes with a nifty augmented-reality feature and offline support.
Bad: It supports only 36 languages, and doesn't automatically detect the input language.
Bottom Line: Bing Translator may have a slicker design and more jaw-dropping features, including offline support and augmented reality, but we can't ignore the fact that Google's product supports over 20 more languages. [Read more]

Good: The HTC One X+ has a quad-core processor, 64GB of storage, and Android Jelly Bean, plus a great camera, all for $199.99.
Bad: The HTC One X+'s battery life is short. The phone also lacks an SD card slot, and its battery can't be removed.
Bottom Line: Although it does have some flaws, the $199.99 HTC One X+ is currently the best Android buy on AT&T. [Read more]

Good: The Elgato EyeTV Mobile allows iPads, iPhones, and iPod Touch models to stream some live TV channels. The viewing app is free, and there are no charges beyond the hardware price. A limited program guide is available, and viewing can be paused and rewound.
Bad: Most areas will have only a handful of over-the-air channels; newer iPads and iPhones require expensive and cumbersome Lighting adapters; there's no recording capability; and video fidelity is lackluster, especially on the iPad.
Bottom Line: The EyeTV Mobile delivers live over-the-air TV to iPads and iPhones, but the extremely limited channel selection is just the first of several reasons it's tough to recommend. [Read more]

Good: The Timbuk2 Power Commute Messenger bag's battery pack charges your phones, tablets, and cameras on the fly and in a stylish package.
Bad: The famous Timbuk2 design is restricted here to one size and color, and with the power brick, it's not cheap.
Bottom Line: If you're looking for stylish bag with a plethora of pockets that can also recharge your devices on the go, Timbuk2's Power Commute Messenger is exactly what you want. [Read more]

User Rating:
Good: The iPod Classic offers a solid, understated design with an easy-to-use interface and unbelievably generous capacity.
Bad: EQ control is limited; the plastic screen is susceptible to scratching; and the only way to move media on and off the device is through iTunes.
Bottom Line: The iPod Classic refines the formula that put the iPod on the map. None can match its combination of storage capacity, battery life, and intuitive user interface. [Read more]
