Good: The LG Mach has a generously sized keyboard, runs on 4G LTE, and its decent camera includes plenty of features.
Bad: The Mach is heavy to hold, has a poor audio speaker, and has mediocre call quality.
Bottom Line: Sprint's LG Mach is a reliable 4G LTE slider phone with midrange specs that'll satisfy basics needs at a competitive price. [Read more]

Good: Nokia's Lumia 822 delivers 4G LTE and a nice 8-megapixel camera, and adds 16GB of onboard storage with room for 64GB more.
Bad: A heavy build and rough, scratchy call quality detract from the Lumia 822's overall appeal.
Bottom Line: The Nokia Lumia 822 offers a very good value for Verizon, but if you're into stylish design and spotless call quality, this isn't the phone for you. [Read more]

Good: Extra features like Thunderbolt ports and Intel Wireless Display technology bolster the strong core components of the touch-screen Asus ET2300INTI all-in-one PC.
Bad: Commodity PC styling won't win this Asus system any design awards.
Bottom Line: It's not the most attractive PC out there, but the Asus ET2300INTI has a broad array of features that will entice those looking for a mainstream Windows 8 all-in-one. [Read more]

Good: The Acer C7 Chromebook's very affordable price is its best asset, plus it's got plenty of ports and a large hard drive. It boots up quickly and is simple to use.
Bad: Saddled with an ugly design, finicky touch pad, and short battery life, this feels like a far cry even from most budget laptops. The Chrome OS is still too limiting, though it's made some strides in a year.
Bottom Line: At $199, the Acer C7 is an attractive proposition for anyone looking for a supercheap portable laptop, but the Chrome OS and short battery life mean you'll have to accept a lot of compromises. [Read more]

Sony XBR-55HX950

User Rating:
Good: The Sony XBR-HX950 series produces deeper black levels than any current LCD or plasma TV, giving excellent overall picture quality. It evinces accurate color, offers plenty of video-processing options, and can properly handle 1080p/24 sources. It also has a beautiful, thin-profile exterior design with Gorilla Glass, and its Internet suite includes numerous streaming services and widgets as well as built-in Wi-Fi. Its 3D image shows minimal crosstalk.
Bad: The extremely expensive XBR-HX950 shows some blooming artifacts, and its picture deteriorates more noticeably than usual when seen from off-angle. Its menu and Internet service design is lackluster, and Sony does not include 3D glasses. When displaying 3D, the image flickers when dejudder is turned off, and it deteriorates rapidly when you tilt your head.
Bottom Line: Although it's priced higher and performs worse than the best plasmas, the Sony XBR-HX950 is still one of the top-performing LED TVs ever. [Read more]

Good: Skype for Android has fantastic audio quality and impressive, though not perfect, video call quality.
Bad: No group video chats. Video quality can sometimes be choppy and pixelated.
Bottom Line: If you're an active Skype member, then Skype for Android is absolutely a must-download. If you're not, then it's still great for making one-to-one video calls and even voice calls to landlines and mobile numbers (for a charge). [Read more]
