Good: In addition to a great, fast lens, the Canon PowerShot G15 has a nice, streamlined shooting design and produces very nice photos.
Bad: It's humbled by a somewhat limited feature set and ho-hum performance.
Bottom Line: The Canon PowerShot G15 continues the G series tradition of solid advanced compacts, but doesn't rank as best in class by any particular measure. [Read more]

Good: The Vizio CA24T-A4 has a low-profile appearance and some useful connectivity options.
Bad: Not every all-in-one looks as clean as this Vizio, but others offer better features for a similar price.
Bottom Line: A touch screen and Windows 8 can't defuse the impression that the Vizio CA24T-A4 all-in-one was designed primarily for retail shelf appeal. [Read more]

Good: The Acer Aspire V5 has a decent design, midrange configuration, and a touch screen, all for a very reasonable price.
Bad: While slim and reasonably attractive, this is still a plastic laptop. The weak battery keeps it from being a great road system.
Bottom Line: For under $700, the Acer Aspire V5 proves that a touch screen can work in a budget-priced Windows 8 laptop without cutting too many corners. [Read more]
