Good: The compact Toshiba Canvio Connect drive offers decent performance and a generous set of bundled software, including Pogoplug PC, which turns a host computer into personal cloud server.
Bad: The drive is not compatible with some USB 2.0 ports and its current pricing is noticeably higher than its peers.
Bottom Line: If you're eager to try out Pogoplug PC, Toshiba Canvio Connect is a good buy, especially if your computer supports USB 3.0. Otherwise, keep looking for better deals. [Read more]

User Rating:
Good: Robot Unicorn Attack 2 adds new features like levels and challenges, customization options, and an online community -- all at no cost.
Bad: RUA2 drops vibration feedback, and now that it's free, you'll need to buy Erasure's "Always" if you want to hear it during gameplay.
Bottom Line: With its vibrant graphics, ironic sense of humor, and epic New Wave soundtrack, Robot Unicorn Attack 2 is a free game that you shouldn't miss. [Read more]

Monoprice MHD Action Camera

User Rating:
Good: The Monoprice MHD Action Camera is an affordable, easy-to-use waterproof POV camera with a good assortment of available mounts as well as a built-in standard quarter-inch tripod mount.
Bad: The MHD's video quality is merely OK; its battery is not removable/replaceable; there's no microSDHC card included; and its fixed lens makes level mounting a little trickier.
Bottom Line: The Monoprice MHD Action Camera is a very good value. You'll just have to be forgiving of its video quality. [Read more]

2014 Acura RLX

User Rating:
Good: The 2014 Acura RLX's standard LED headlights throw a bright, well-defined pattern into the night. Four-wheel-steering aids handling and direct injection helps fuel efficiency. Adaptive cruise control leads to effortless highway driving, and the Krell audio system delivers incredible dynamic range.
Bad: A bizarre two-screen cabin tech interface makes tuning music or placing calls confusing. When the road gets a little rough, the ride becomes very uncomfortable.
Bottom Line: The 2014 Acura RLX makes a game attempt at being a high-tech roller, but suffers from flaws serious enough that should send Acura back to the drawing board. [Read more]

Fitbit One (burgundy)

User Rating:
Good: The Fitbit One offers an intuitive way to track and analyze your sleep, the steps you take, stairs climbed, and calories burned. Small and light, the One is very portable. Its OLED screen, which has a clock, is easy to read. It sends data to phones over Bluetooth.
Bad: The Fitbit One's clip often comes loose. The One's Bluetooth syncing function only works with a few compatible handsets thus far.
Bottom Line: The Fitbit One is a feature-rich pedometer, but the wristband-style Jawbone Up and Fitbit's own Flex are more convenient and much better deals. [Read more]

Securus eZoom GPS tracker

User Rating:
Good: The Securus eZoom is compact, robust, and unobtrusive: all great features in a portable GPS tracking device. Battery life of up to three weeks is admirable in this class. A-GPS positioning allows limited indoor functionality.
Bad: The operation costs are higher than we feel they should be. Historical positioning wasn't very granular during our testing.
Bottom Line: The Securus eZoom tracking and safetly locator's hardware is quite good, but expensive operation costs and buggy software tarnishes its recommendation. [Read more]

Noontec Zoro HD True Sound (White)

Editor's Rating:
User Rating:
Good: The affordable Noontec Zoro HD headphones mimic Beats Solo styling, but the Zoro HDs sound better, delivering clean, well-balanced sound that will appeal to audiophiles. They're also comfortable to wear, they fold up to stow away in an included carrying pouch, and they have an inline remote/microphone for making cell phone calls.
Bad: The plastic hinges don't inspire confidence in their long-term durability.
Bottom Line: While their build quality is nothing special, the Noontec Zoro HD headphones improve on the original Zoros, offering audiophile-grade sound in a $100 pair of headphones. [Read more]
