Good: The 2013 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG is a born rock-crawler, and a powerful engine makes it no slouch on the road. Adaptive cruise control eases long drives and its Harman Kardon audio system delivers well-controlled sound.
Bad: Fuel economy is downright dismal. The turning radius could be tighter and the Mercedes-Benz apps system in the cabin electronics runs very slowly.
