Good: The iLuv City Lights in-ear headphones are comfortable, attractive looking, and seem to be built reasonably well for their ultralow price tag. They also pump out a lot of bass.
Bad: Their high-end (treble) performance is lackluster, so they lack clarity; no inline remote/microphone for making cell-phone calls.
Bottom Line: For around $7, the iLuv City Lights are well-designed budget earphones, but they push the bass a little too hard at the expense of clarity. [Read more]

Good: The 2013 Nissan Juke Nismo's 1.6-liter engine generates 197 horsepower and the car's handling is superb. D-Mode changes throttle and steering programs for sport driving.
Bad: The navigation system's maps refresh slowly and its route guidance offers minimal help. The stereo lacks Bluetooth audio streaming.
Bottom Line: It may be funny-looking, but in Nismo form the 2013 Nissan Juke is one heck of a fun hatchback, with excellent performance technology. Just budget a little more to replace the cabin electronics. [Read more]

Good: The Canon PowerShot SX280 HS has shooting modes for every type of photographer from casual to advanced; a useful long zoom lens with excellent image stabilization; and overall excellent photo and video quality for a compact megazoom.
Bad: Battery life is short, especially if you use the Wi-Fi and GPS features or movie capture. The flash isn't in a great location, and there are no easy panorama or HDR shooting options.
Bottom Line: Wi-Fi connectivity and a new processor help make Canon's PowerShot SX280 HS one of the top compact megazooms available. But you'd better load up on batteries. [Read more]

2013 Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged

User Rating:
Good: The 2013 Range Rover Supercharged is a true go-anywhere vehicle; its Terrain Response 2 system takes all of the guesswork out of maximizing off-road performance. Cabin comfort is exceedingly good. Fuel economy isn't bad for a vehicle of this size.
Bad: The infotainment system buries many of the best tech features deep within touch-screen menus. The voice-control system also forces the driver to deal with multiple prompts and confirmations.
Bottom Line: The 2013 Range Rover Supercharged is like buying two exceptional vehicles in one: a rugged off-road SUV and a well-appointed luxury car. [Read more]
