Good: The 2013 Infiniti M56 sedan packs a very potent level of standard infotainment features and audio sources. The Technology package adds a number of clever and forward-thinking driver aid features.
Bad: The 420-horsepower sedan simply isn't fun to drive. The Eco Pedal feature is awkward and didn't really help the V-8's efficiency very much.
Bottom Line: The 2013 Infiniti M56 is plenty powerful, but its true strengths are its safety and its cabin. Save your money and opt for the smaller engine. [Read more]

Good: The Asus Taichi 21 offers a clever implementation of a dual-screen design in a slim Core i7 chassis.
Bad: Only one of the screens is touch-enabled, which feels like a major oversight. There are probably only a handful of situations where you'd need an outward-facing display.
Bottom Line: More of a clever proof-of-concept than a practical product, the Asus Taichi still delivers on its basic promise, combining two displays for a unique take on the laptop/tablet/hybrid genre. [Read more]

Good: The bCoda Coda One's shape lets it work like a handset, with much better ergonomics and audio quality than a typical smartphone. Two speakers and two microphones in the device enhance its call quality, and it supports A2DP audio streaming.
Bad: The Coda One lacks internal voice command. Its audio quality falls short of that from other wireless speakers, and it does not have an audio output jack.
Bottom Line: The Coda One really shines for people who prefer traditional phone ergonomics over a smartphone and performs reasonably well as a wireless speaker phone, but it does not quite make it as a portable music player. [Read more]

Good: Microsoft Office 365 Home Edition is a significant update that delivers all the familiar software, with a reinvented interface, tools that make common processes easier, and a cloud-friendly system that lets you work from anywhere.
Bad: The $100-a-year subscription will be hard for many people to swallow. The upgraded apps are not available for Mac at this time, and won't be for 12 to 18 months.
Bottom Line: Familiar tools coupled with new features and a simplified and redesigned interface make Office 2013 well worth the paid upgrade. [Read more]
