Good: The Motorola Droid Razr HD offers fast performance, a big eye-popping screen, and luxurious design. It also has great call quality and satisfying 4G speeds.
Bad: The Droid Razr HD's Achilles' heel is a camera that produces subpar images. The phone is loaded with Verizon bloatware, too.
Bottom Line: Motorola's lovely new Droid Razr HD is fast and thin, but its weak camera should make mobile shutterbugs wary. [Read more]

Good: 2012 The End Escape offers fun tilt-controlled survival racing with tons of cool unlocks that keep you playing to earn more coins. The detailed cars and explosion effects are great to look at while you play.
Bad: Bad sound effects make you want to turn the sound off. Coins take a lot of races to earn in order to buy the game's many vehicles.
Bottom Line: 2012 The End Escape is an excellent time waster with plenty to keep you involved as you escape the alien apocalypse. If you can ignore the terrible sound effects and don't mind doing several runs, this game can be a lot of fun with plenty of vehicles to unlock and cool things to discover. [Read more]

Razer Blade (fall 2012)

User Rating:
Good: The latest Razer Blade has improved graphics and a quad-core, more powerful Core i7 processor in the same thin body, with an excellent 17-inch 1080p display.
Bad: The new Blade costs $300 less than the first one, but it's still very expensive compared with competitors. The unique Switchblade UI touch-screen interface doesn't have enough game support to be a killer app.
Bottom Line: Faster and better than before, the improved Razer Blade is a better gaming laptop in an impressively thin form, but you're paying for design over practicality. [Read more]

Digital Storm x17 Gaming Laptop

User Rating:
Good: The Digital Storm x17 is highly configurable, and the configuration we reviewed is an excellent value for the set of components, thanks to an included three-year warranty.
Bad: The dated, generic body is the same one many other boutique gaming laptops have, and it doesn't make this feel like a premium product. AMD's graphics switching is still wonky.
Bottom Line: It's not the prettiest laptop out there, but the Digital Storm x17 is ahead of the competition at providing maximum power at a minimum (but still significant) price. [Read more]

User Rating:
Good: Sprint's LG Optimus G sports a 13-megapixel camera, a zippy quad-core CPU, and an attractively bright touch screen.
Bad: The Optimus G doesn't have a microSD card slot, its battery drained fairly quickly, and sounds from the audio speaker were harsh.
Bottom Line: Despite its short battery life, Sprint's LG Optimus G is the best LG phone on the market due to its zippy processor, lovely display, and 13-megapixel camera. [Read more]

Apple iPod Shuffle (2012, purple)

User Rating:
Good: The iPod Shuffle includes a sturdy built-in clip, support for playlists, audiobooks, podcasts, Genius Mixes, and a multilingual VoiceOver feature that announces track information, battery status, and menu navigation.
Bad: The 2GB capacity can't hold much; there's no headphone remote nor radio; the track controls tend to get pinched when clipping the iPod to your clothes; and the chances of you accidentally running it through the washing machine are quite high.
Bottom Line: The Apple iPod Shuffle is an adorable way to take your favorite songs on-the-go, but sometimes it's too small for its own good. [Read more]
