CamRuler (iOS) |
Posted: 05 Oct 2012 12:36 AM PDT Editor's Rating: User Rating: Good: CamRuler for iOS gives you fairly accurate measurements when you use it just right. Bad: Poor interface controls get infuriating quickly. The lack of a back button means that if you make further adjustments, you're going to need to start over. Bottom Line: CamRuler can work if you're willing to put in a lot of time on each measurement, but the interface for sizing and measuring is almost comically infuriating, making the current $1.99 price tag sting. It works well when you want to play a quick game with your favorite team. Bad: The control system is severely lacking on the touch screen. The game lags and hiccups on the iPhone 5. Jordan's historic 63-point game is set in Chicago, when it was actually in Boston. Bottom Line: NBA 2K13 is the best arcade 5-on-5 basketball game on a smartphone, and it looks pretty good. But bad controls, graphical glitches, and several other issues make the $7.99 price tag way too high. [Read more] |
