Good: The Asus Transformer Pad TF300's Tegra 3-induced performance more or less matches the Transformer Prime's and goes a step further with a better rear camera, faster Wi-Fi performance, a more responsive screen, and an actual (and official) GPS feature. Micro-HDMI and microSD return, as does the keyboard option. The $380 entry price makes the TF300 the best full-Android tablet value currently on the market.
Bad: The tablet's design isn't as thin, sturdy, or sexy as the Transformer Prime's and feels a bit hollow in comparison. The $150 keyboard dock is still $150. The screen isn't outside-friendly, like the Prime's.
Bottom Line: Though it isn't as thin or as sturdy, the Asus Transformer Pad TF300 delivers Prime levels of performance at a more affordable price. [Read more]

Good: The Origin EON17-S is one of the first laptops to offer Intel's third-gen Core i7 CPUs. It's a powerful, highly customizable gaming laptop that can get expensive, but can also include overclocked components.
Bad: Customizing can drive up the price very quickly, and even with a new back panel, it's still very generic-looking.
Bottom Line: First out of the gate with the latest quad-core Intel CPUs, Origin is one of the few high-end boutique gaming PC makers that really pays attention to laptops. [Read more]

Good: The Origin Genesis offers some of the fastest gaming performance I've seen, and in an expertly built configuration.
Bad: The Origin's new "Ivy Bridge" Core i7-3770K chip doesn't offer a significant performance edge over equivalent high-end CPUs from its previous generation.
Bottom Line: Despite only a modest chip update from Intel, this fast gaming desktop makes the best of a challenging marketing task. Any gamer would be glad to own the Origin Genesis. [Read more]

Good: The Asus Essentio CM6870 is a reasonably well-equipped mainstream PC that is one of the first to feature Intel's new third-generation (aka Ivy Bridge) Core i7 CPUs.
Bad: This boring commodity desktop has little to recommend it over similar systems, and Asus also focused too much on pleasing everyone with the configuration.
Bottom Line: Intel's new CPUs are the most compelling feature in this new Asus Essentio CM6870 desktop. Otherwise, it's just another midtower. [Read more]

Good: The MEElectronics Air-Fi AF32 on-ear stereo Bluetooth headphones are comfortable and relatively affordable, offering good sound quality for Bluetooth standards. They have a built-in microphone for making calls, are rated for 12 hours of battery life on a single charge, and can also be used as corded headphones (cable included).
Bad: They don't fold flat, and the on-ear design makes your ears steamy in warm weather.
Bottom Line: The MEElectronics Air-Fi AF32 Bluetooth headphones are very solid for the money. [Read more]

Good: The Magellan RoadMate 9055-LM features lifetime traffic data and lifetime map updates. The large 7-inch screen makes the map easier to read at a glance. The flexible cradle allows for creative positioning.
Bad: The cradle's arm wiggles quite a bit when interacting with the navigator. Destination entry is slow thanks to a laggy interface. Search algorithm is extremely picky about how you search for things.
Bottom Line: The Magellan RoadMate 9055-LM is a great navigator for those who think that size matters, but laggy performance causes it to fall behind much of its smaller competitors. [Read more]

Magellan Wireless Back-Up Camera

Good: After a simple, 30-minute installation, the Magellan Wireless Back-Up Camera seamlessly and automatically delivers video of the area behind the vehicle to a Magellan portable navigation device. Waterproof camera features an ultrawide field of view and good low-light sensitivity.
Bad: The camera system can't operate as a standalone unit, requiring an expensive PND to function. Spade connectors supplied for installation are slightly too large for the wires they're expected to join.
Bottom Line: The Magellan Wireless Back-Up Camera boosts the functionality of the Roadmate 9055-LM and upgrades the safety and convenience of any vehicle with very little effort. [Read more]
