Good: The Mini Connected system brings Web-connected services and Pandora to the 2012 Mini Cooper Coupe John Cooper Works' dashboard via iPhone. Performance is among the best in class and the Coupe's quirky styling attracts much positive attention.
Bad: The Coupe's low roof and motorized spoiler compromise visibility in most directions. The cabin is rather loud at highway speeds. Bluetooth audio streaming is not available. The JCW Coupe is quite pricey.
Bottom Line: Love or hate its styling, the 2012 Mini Cooper Coupe John Cooper Works is easily one of the best-performing front-wheel-drive cars we've tested. Unfortunately, it's also priced about $10,000 too high. [Read more]

Good: The Canon Pixma MX372's autodocument feeder enables hands-free scanning, and a new cartridge-loading system up front takes the work out of replacing cartridges.
Bad: The dual-ink cartridge bay turns out mediocre-quality photo prints, and the hardware lacks options for group networking.
Bottom Line: The Canon Pixma MX372 is a sensible printing solution for personal use, but photographers and offices looking for a network-ready printer could spend a little more up front for better output quality. [Read more]

Good: The LG BP620 has built-in Wi-Fi, 3D compatibility, and LG's Smart TV suite of streaming-media services, which includes Netflix, Hulu Plus, Pandora, and Vudu. The user interface for the Smart TV services is the best on any Blu-ray player this year.
Bad: The BP620 lacks Amazon Instant streaming, and several other services (MLB.TV, MOG) aren't available yet. The remote doesn't have dedicated buttons for Netflix or to jump right to the Smart TV services. And the step-down BP320 is a slightly better deal if you don't need 3D compatibility.
Bottom Line: If you want 3D, the LG BP620 has most of the right features, but the absence of Amazon Instant and a dedicated Netflix button hurt its value a bit. [Read more]
