Good: The top-tier Trendnet AC1900 Dual Band Wireless Router is fast, easy to use, and comparatively affordable.
Bad: The router doesn't recognize most portable drives plugged into its USB ports, and there's no wall-mounting option.

Good: The Logitech Z50 plays loud for its compact size, is simple to set up and use, and takes up very little room on a desk. Best of all, it only costs around $20 and works with nearly every device.
Bad: No battery or wireless option; the exposed speaker driver might get damaged if something is dropped on it; bass is light and the speaker can distort at higher volumes.
Bottom Line: The Logitech Z50 is about as no-frills as you get for a multimedia speaker, but at $20 it's not a bad deal for the sound it delivers. [Read more]

JVC DLA-X700R

Good: The JVC DLA-X700R delivered the best overall picture quality of any projector we've ever tested, as deep, inky black levels and brighter highlights lead to superb contrast. It has extremely accurate, well-saturated color; comprehensive video processing, calibration, and setup options; whisper-quiet operation in Low lamp mode; no-nonsense minimalist design; and optional RF 3D emitter compatible with cheaper third-party glasses.
Bad: Extremely expensive and a worse value than the JVC DLA-X35; relatively limited light output, e-Shift and 4K input capability don't improve picture quality; inaccurate pre-calibration picture settings; doesn't include accessories necessary to watch 3D.
Bottom Line: If you can afford the JVC DLA-X700R -- and the dedicated room, high-quality screen, and professional calibration required to make it shine -- its spectacular picture quality is worth the steep investment. [Read more]

User Rating:
Good: The ZTE Sonata 4G is competitively priced, scores respectable data speeds, and has expandable memory.
Bad: In addition to a thick profile, the Sonata has a mediocre camera and a low-resolution screen.
Bottom Line: If you can live with unimpressive photos, the Sonata 4G is a reliable phone for those on a budget, but LG's prepaid Optimus F6 is the better option. [Read more]

Nespresso VertuoLine (Black)

User Rating:
Good: The Nespresso VertuoLine is a sturdy coffee and espresso maker with a delightfully intuitive layout. Unlike its bland single cup counterparts, Nespresso spiced up its design with some retro style elements.
Bad: At $299, it costs considerably more than its competition. Only Nespresso-brand coffee and espresso pods are compatible with VertuoLine machines.
Bottom Line: This well-designed machine is a very good option for fans of at-home coffee and espresso. Consider the $159.99 Bunn My Cafe MCU if you want a more versatile coffee maker. [Read more]
