Good: The 2014 Toyota 4Runner keeps it simple with a beefy, but low-tech, power-train and good off-road performance. Entune gives it excellent app integration, including Yelp, Pandora, iHeartRadio, and Bing search. Premium level audio system is loud and bass-heavy.
Bad: On-road performance suffers where handling, performance, and efficiency are concerned. Steering wheel controls were too spread out to easily reach with my average-sized hands.
Bottom Line: There is a charm to the 2014 Toyota 4Runner's simplicity, but this truckish SUV sacrifices much of its daily driver refinement in the pursuit of occasional off-road excursions. [Read more]

Good: Nvidia's new GTX 860M GPU is the real highlight of the MSI GE60 Apache Pro-003 notebook, along with a high-end CPU and a great keyboard. The Pro-003 is smaller and lighter than most gaming laptops, and it doesn't have the usual overly glossy screen.
Bad: This is still a thick, chunky box that's out of step with modern laptop design. The screen isn't a touch screen and tops out at 1080p.
Bottom Line: The MSI GE60 combines one of Nvidia's new 800-series GPUs and other high-end components, in a gaming rig that's not the desk-hogging backbreaker some others are. [Read more]
