Good: The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Book Cover features two stand levels, good edge protection, and looks sharp wrapped around the tablet.
Bad: The front flap covers the back camera lens when attempting to take a picture, there's no auto-sleep feature, and the movie-viewing angle is unstable. Also, the price is way too high.
Bottom Line: The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Book Cover has most of the features you'd want, but its missing auto-sleep feature makes its high price a tough pill to swallow. [Read more]

Good: The Canon PowerShot A2400 IS and PowerShot A2300 have very good picture quality for their class and are loaded with effects and filters.
Bad: The cameras' flat buttons and cramped layout may make use difficult for some and shooting performance is slow, particularly shot-to-shot. The lenses require a lot of light or high ISOs when zoomed in. Battery life is short.
Bottom Line: The entry-level Canon PowerShot A2400 IS and its IS-less linemate the A2300 are simple cameras with nice picture quality for casual snapshooters, but the price difference isn't worth sacrificing the image stabilization. [Read more]

User Rating:
Good: The Virgin Mobile iPhone 4 offers all the usual iPhone features, plus mobile hot spot, without a contract.
Bad: Virgin's iPhone 4 data speeds are slower than AT&T's and Verizon's, and it lacks both world roaming and the ability to access voice and data simultaneously.
Bottom Line: At a hefty cost, the Virgin Mobile iPhone 4 delivers an unlimited plan without a contract -- just don't expect blazing-fast data speeds. [Read more]

Microsoft Wedge Touch Mouse

User Rating:
Good: The Microsoft Wedge Touch Mouse has an elegant, extremely compact, and surprisingly comfortable design, and works as well as advertised.
Bad: Touch gestures are limited to basic one-finger four-way scrolling, and a $70 price tag feels too lofty.
Bottom Line: Executives dying for an ultraportable mouse to go with their Windows 8 or Android tablet will find a beautiful companion in the Wedge Touch Mouse, but it's a lot to pay for a pretty basic set of functions. [Read more]

Good: Sturdy construction and thoughtful design make the Microsoft Wedge Mobile Keyboard stand out.
Bad: It's a tad pricey at $79, and (no surprise) it lacks universal hot keys that work in non-Microsoft operating systems.
Bottom Line: The Microsoft Wedge Mobile Keyboard offers one of the best designed wireless Bluetooth keyboard and tablet-stand combinations on the market, especially when you pair it with a Windows 8 device. [Read more]

Good: Instagram is an excellent way to turn mundane images into cool-looking photos you can share with friends. The new maps feature means people can easily browse all your geotagged shots.
Bad: Photo Map features default to showing all your geotagged shots, which could be dangerous under some circumstances.
Bottom Line: If you like taking retro-looking shots and sharing them, Instagram is tough to beat. With the new mapping features, your pictures will have a longer browsing lifespan. [Read more]
