Good: The Nokia 808 PureView's excellent, envelope-pushing 41-megapixel camera will satisfy photo enthusiasts. It also has strong battery life, an HDMI port, and steady call quality.
Bad: A slower processor doesn't match the 808 PureView's camera prowess, and it's saddled with bulk, a cramped virtual keyboard, and software that's behind the curve.
Bottom Line: Even if you're only interested in its sharp, innovative camera, the Nokia 808 PureView's weak Symbian Belle OS and slower processor make it a pricey investment, especially since Symbian's days are numbered. [Read more]

Good: The Cowon Auto Capsule AC1 is simple to operate. It automatically captures a 30-second HD video clip when it detects a bump, including up to 15 seconds of video preceding the trigger.
Bad: The manual alludes to secondary features that are never explained. No Mac-friendly video playback software is included in the box.
Bottom Line: The Cowon Auto Capsule AC1 HD dashboard camera is so simple that it requires almost no interaction from the driver, but its MSRP is a bit high for its feature set. [Read more]

Rolling Ave. iCircle

Good: The iCircle adds a two-way horizontal and vertical stand onto the back of a compact iPad back shield; it can also be used in a third, flatter typing mode. Compatible with Smart Cover.
Bad: The $70 price is way too high, and the construction quality feels several steps down from stellar.
Bottom Line: The iCircle is a clever multipurpose iPad back cover/stand, but its high price and somewhat flimsy feel don't add up to a smart purchase for most people. [Read more]

Bad: The ZOMM leash controls and app interface aren't intuitive, and its speaker quality is disappointing.
Bottom Line: The ZOMM Wireless Leash is a great way to keep your phones (or other valuables) close by, but it has a tough learning curve and a steep price. [Read more]

Panasonic RP-HX40 (Black)

User Rating:
Good: The Panasonic RP-HX40s are lightweight on-ear headphones that look fairly attractive (they come in multiple colors), are inexpensive, have a built-in microphone for making cell phone calls, and sound very good for their low price point.
Bad: The RP-HX40s feel like inexpensive headphones and aren't incredibly comfortable (they could use a bit of padding in the headband).
Bottom Line: Despite some shortcomings in the design and comfort department, the Panasonic RP-HX40s deliver impressive sound for the money and are a good value at around $20 online. [Read more]

Fancy (iOS)

Good: The selection of items on Fancy is different from, and in some ways better than, that on Pinterest. Multiple lists make organizing items a breeze.
Bad: Difficult to make bulk edits. Sometimes the Buy Now button brings up a similar item, and not the exact item you're looking for. No pinning items from the Web.
Bottom Line: Whether you're an existing Pinterest user or simply a shopaholic, Fancy has tons of items that you should see. Plus, a potential discount through Fancy's built-in shop should make the app worth considering. [Read more]
