Good: HP's Omni 120-1024 is an aptly configured budget desktop with enough performance and functionality to satisfy home users or students.
Bad: Depending on your needs, a tablet computer might be a more elegant alternative.
Bottom Line: You might reasonably ask whether a budget desktop makes sense anymore given the versatility of the iPad and other tablets, but if you find you do in fact need a low-cost computer, the HP Omni 120-1024 is a fine choice. [Read more]

Good: The Motorola Atrix 2 has a sharp and colorful 4.3-inch qHD display, a dual-core 1GHz processor, HSPA+ support, an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video capture, a front-facing camera, Webtop functionality, and it ships with Android 2.3.
Bad: The Motorola Atrix 2 no longer has the fingerprint sensor, and there is a slight shutter lag that will not please camera enthusiasts.
Bottom Line: For the price, the Motorola Atrix 2 is an amazingly feature-packed high-performance Android phone for AT&T customers. [Read more]

Good: The Samsung LND630 series exhibited very good picture quality, with relatively deep black levels, accurate color in bright areas and excellent video processing with proper handling of 1080p/24 sources. Its matte screen works well in bright lighting and the TV features numerous picture adjustment options and can stream video via USB and DLNA. We appreciated its classy styling.
Bad: Shadow detail on the LND630 series was somewhat murky, its dark areas tinged were tinged a bit blue, and the benefits of 120Hz difficult to discern. A few slightly more expensive models have much better feature selections.
Bottom Line: With image quality every bit as good as many expensive LED models, the Samsung LND630 is a great choice for a no-frills LCD TV. [Read more]
