Good: The LG Smart ThinQ 6.3 Cu. Ft. Capacity Electric Single Oven Range with Infrared Grill LRE3027ST boasts welcome features like a warming drawer, dual-element burners, and an easy to use touch-pad interface.
Bad: The smartphone app is glitchy and not very useful, and the range's overall performance wasn't as good as we'd hoped.
Bottom Line: While we love the idea of greater connectivity with our kitchen appliances, this LG oven doesn't deliver enough in cooking prowess or connectivity to merit a strong recommendation. [Read more]

Good: The Klipsch Gig is a well-designed, compact Bluetooth speaker with strong bass and good battery life (12 hours). It has a built-in speakerphone and offers AptX and NFC support for devices that include those features
Bad: While the bass is strong, the sound could be more detailed. It's somewhat pricey.
Bottom Line: While it doesn't beat the sound of some competing speakers in its $200 price class, the Klipsch Gig gets a lot of things right, offering a strong design and feature set along with comparatively deep bass for a speaker its size. [Read more]

Good: The 2014 VW Jetta SE offers good power and efficiency from its 1.8T engine. The return of the rear multilink suspension smooths out the ride and gives the sedan more-planted highway speed handling. Car-Net telematics adds GPS tracking, roadside assistance, and emergency response services via the vehicle, an app, or the Web.
Bad: The standard audio system is surprisingly hard to use given its limited feature set. Turbo lag is noticable.
Bottom Line: At this trim level, the 2014 Volkswagen Jetta SE offers basic transportation at a bargain, but the available TDI is a much better deal. [Read more]
