Good: Zagat for Android has an intuitive interface. Scores are broken down into categories, instead of lumped into one overall star rating.
Bad: The app has a relatively tiny database of restaurant listings, and restaurant pages could use more user-submitted information like photos and tips.
Bottom Line: While Zagat offers a credible, detailed rating system, its app's database is just too small to compete with Yelp's. [Read more]

Good: The Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router AC 1750 HD Video Pro EA6500 is good looking, very fast at short distance, and offers lots of cloud-based features.
Bad: The Linksys EA6500 has a lot of performance and connectivity problems. It's also very expensive.
Bottom Line: The Linksys EA6500 has the potential to be a great router, but for now it'd still make a bad deal even if it cost half its current price. [Read more]

Good: Schemer for Android has simple navigation and a nifty map view.
Bad: Can't change privacy settings from app. No Accomplices page.
Bottom Line: If you're interested in keeping a public list of your aspirations in life, then check out Schemer. It even provides a quirky and fun way of connecting with others who might have similar aspirations. [Read more]

Sun-Sniper Strap-Surfer

Good: The Sun-Sniper Strap-Surfer lets you use your favorite bag's existing strap.
Bad: It's hard to find a good length for the strap -- long enough to get the camera to your eye but short enough that it doesn't hang too far down. Also, the Strap-Surfer only really works with cameras that have viewfinders, since it's hard to pull it far enough forward to use the LCD.
Bottom Line: If you want to attach your camera to the outside of an existing bag, the Sun-Sniper Strap-Surfer is a fine option. [Read more]

Custom SLR Glide Strap for Cameras

Editor's Rating:
User Rating:
Good: The Custom SLR Glide Strap has a very comfortable neck pad and a cleverly designed tripod-mount connector.
Bad: The whole thing gets a bit too floppy and easily twisted.
Bottom Line: If you want something far superior to the bundled neck strap that came with your camera, the Custom SLR Glide Strap is a very comfortable alternative. [Read more]

BlackRapid Sport Slim RS-Sport 2 (Black)

User Rating:
Good: The underarm brace on the BlackRapid Sport Slim RS-Sport 2's comfortable and well-designed strap gives it extra stability when you're moving a lot or have a heavy camera.
Bad: The strap's carabiner attachment is awkward at best and at worst abrades the camera.
Bottom Line: Despite a less-than-perfect connector design, the Black Rapid Sport Slim RS-Sport 2 is a great sling strap for people with more important things to do with their hands when they're not shooting. [Read more]
