Good: The Parrot Asteroid Smart navigation system feeds Internet connectivity, navigation, mobile apps, digital-media playback, and hands-free calling through a good-looking touch-screen display. Those already familiar with Android will need no learning period to use it.
Bad: The Asteroid Market offers only nine apps in the U.S. at launch, only about half of which are really interesting.
Bottom Line: The Parrot Asteroid Smart is a smartly designed and flexible multimedia receiver that hangs its hat on an app market that, for now, doesn't offer much choice. [Read more]

Good: The BenQ W1070 offers very good picture quality for the price, including respectable black levels and excellent color accuracy. 3D playback is excellent.
Bad: No 3D glasses are included, and they cost $99 each. Low-level shadow detail is crushed. With the 3D upgrades, the Epson 3020 could be a better option.
Bottom Line: If you want a huge, good-looking image for a little money, few come close to the BenQ W1070 projector. [Read more]
