Good: Easy to install and easy on the eyes, the Nest Learning Thermostat learns your heating and cooling preferences over time, so you don't have to set it. Wi-Fi networking and a tasteful app let you control and monitor your Nest from afar.
Bad: At $250, the Nest is so very expensive.
Bottom Line: The Nest Learning Thermostat makes home climate control, yes, interesting. With lovely design, charming extras (it reports the weather!), and integrated Wi-Fi, this thermostat of the future can restart an industry. [Read more]

Good: The LG Lucid has a slick design, swift data speeds, and a zippy processor. Its camera's photo and video recording quality is also impressive.
Bad: The Lucid comes equipped with way too much bloatware, and its speaker is subpar. Also, considering its release date, we're disappointed that it doesn't run on Ice Cream Sandwich.
Bottom Line: Though it's stuck on Gingerbread, the Lucid's great camera, snappy performance, and cheap price tag make it a solid choice for a budget 4G Android phone. [Read more]

Bad: The on-ear design makes your ears steamy in warm weather, and cell phone call quality is spotty.
Bottom Line: If you're sick of tangled wires, the Creative WP-350 is one of the better-sounding Bluetooth wireless headphones for the money. [Read more]
