Good: The Audio-Technica ATH-CKP500 in-ear sports headphones offer a comfortable, secure fit and are waterproof to the degree that they can be washed after use. They also sound good and come with both standard silicone eartips and ridged ones for runners and bikers who don't want to totally seal themselves off from their environment for safety reasons.
Bad: No inline remote/microphone for cell-phone calling and no carrying case included.
Bottom Line: Offering a comfortable, secure fit and strong sound for a reasonable price, Audio-Technica's ATH-CKP500 is one of the better in-ear sports headphones available. [Read more]

Good: The Pinterest mobile app looks and feels just like its Web site, which makes pinning and browsing on the go a breeze.
Bad: Cannot change cover photos for boards. Pinch-to-zoom on photos would be nice.
Bottom Line: The near-perfect Pinterest mobile app rocks at just about all of your basic pinning and browsing needs. [Read more]

Good: The LG Cosmos 3 from Verizon features a surprisingly sharp display, is equipped with a four-row keyboard, and it's free with a contract.
Bad: The Cosmos 3's camera doesn't have a flash and can't record video, and its web browser is too cumbersome to even bother navigating.
Bottom Line: Though the Cosmos 3 is free with contract, you're better off paying more for a comparable handset, like the Samsung Intensity III. [Read more]

Asus Transformer Book TX300C

User Rating:
Good: The Asus Transformer Book TX300 is a rare hybrid with a Core i7 CPU, high-res screen, and smart dual hard drives -- there's a SSD in the tablet half, and a larger HDD in the keyboard base.
Bad: The system is awkwardly top-heavy, and you feel as if you're fighting the touch pad at every turn.
Bottom Line: Asus adds a lot of what I've been looking for in a hybrid to the Transformer Book, but no one has yet really nailed the perfect laptop/tablet combo. [Read more]

Good: The Twitter for Android app is great at all of your basic Twitter operations. It makes it easy to post photos, mention users, and add location tags.
Bad: There's no rich content displayed inline and no scheduled tweets. Photo filters are too mild.
Bottom Line: The official Twitter app for Android offers reliable performance and slick design, but power users may find themselves wanting more. [Read more]

User Rating:
Good: The Cambridge Audio Minx Air 100 is an attractive wireless speaker, with an understated design that blends well into most environments. It supports both Bluetooth and AirPlay, plus it can directly stream Internet radio without the need for a separate mobile device.
Bad: The Minx Air 100 doesn't sound as good as other speakers in its price class. Despite the handle on the back, it's not truly a portable speaker, as it lacks a built-in battery. AirPlay setup can be slightly difficult for networking neophytes.
Bottom Line: The Cambridge Audio Minx Air 100 is a great-looking speaker that supports Bluetooth, AirPlay, and Internet radio, but its sound quality is underwhelming, especially for its price. [Read more]

2014 Subaru Forester

User Rating:
Good: Subaru's new EyeSight system gives the 2014 Forester adaptive cruise control and collision prevention. Aha brings online streaming audio and some social-media functions. All-wheel drive comes standard.
Bad: The Forester's Aha integration does not include free-form search for local businesses, and the system acts buggy with an iPhone. The navigation touch screen is on the small side.
Bottom Line: The 2014 Subaru Forester makes some interesting stabs at advanced technology, but its true value still lies in its all-wheel-drive system, fuel economy, and practical interior space. [Read more]
