Good: The affordable HTC One VX for AT&T serves up a modern Android OS, a dual-core processor, and a feature-rich camera. The phone also delivers rock-solid call quality and long battery life.
Bad: The HTC One VX lacks quad-core processing and a removable battery.
Bottom Line: It may not be a fire-breathing superphone, but the HTC One VX offers plenty of Android goodness for under $50. [Read more]

Good: The 4G LTE Pantech Discover has an excellent ergonomic design, great external speakers, a good camera, and comes at an incredible value.
Bad: Not all of the Discover's specs are top-notch, including the Android 4.0 OS that excludes Google Now.
Bottom Line: If you're looking for an inexpensive Android phone to fall in love with, AT&T's $50 Pantech Discover is it. [Read more]

Good: The Acer Iconia W510 is less expensive than some other Atom-based hybrids, and its detachable tablet screen is light and portable. Battery life is excellent.
Bad: In laptop mode, the system is awkwardly top-heavy, and the puny keyboard and touch pad are not designed for serious use.
Bottom Line: Offering low-powered Intel Atom tablet/laptop hybrids for $750 or more is a dodgy proposition for budget-looking systems such as the Iconia W510, but all-day battery life is a great selling point. [Read more]

Good: The Monster Diamond Tears Edge On-Ear Headphones have a flashy, eye-catching design, seem sturdily built, and offer rich, detailed sound and decent bass that's not overbearing. They come with a carrying case and three headphone cords, two of which feature an inline remote/microphone (one is for Apple iOS devices, the other for Android and other phones).
Bad: They're pricey and some people, particularly those with larger ears, may find them uncomfortable to wear over long listening sessions.
Bottom Line: The Monster Diamond Tears Edge On-Ear Headphones may not be a gem of a pair for the price, but for a fashion statement they actually sound good. [Read more]
