Intel Museum offers walk through PC history Posted: 28 Jul 2010 01:23 PM PDT Located in the Robert Noyce Building at Intel’s headquarters in in Santa Clara, the Intel Museum showcases many of the company’s most significant achievements in computer history. Josh Bancroft visited the museum in 2006 and took these photos. He graciously allowed us to republish them on TechRepublic. Browsing through the gallery, you’ll find pictures of Intel’s first microprocessor (Intel 4004), Altair 8800 with Intel 8080 microprocessor, silicon wafers from the 1960s, and much more.
