Good: The Samsung WB800F Smart Camera has excellent wireless features and an abundance of shooting options for all types of shooters. It has a handy pop-up flash and very good photo and video quality for its price and features.
Bad: Button placement on top of the camera could be better, and accessing some of the setting menus isn't always straightforward. Photo quality is merely OK above ISO 400.
Bottom Line: A 21x zoom and a wealth of shooting options and wireless features make the Samsung WB800F Smart camera a fine smartphone accessory. [Read more]

Good: The Pioneer VSX-823-K has a good feature set, with six HDMI inputs, including an MHL-compatible front-panel input. It has built-in networking, with AirPlay compatibility and integrated support for Pandora, Internet radio, and DLNA. The Pioneer also provides above-average sound quality.
Bad: Sony's competing STR-DN840 offers built-in Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and AirPlay for $50 more. Other networked AV receivers offer more streaming services, such as Spotify and SiriusXM. The included one-year warranty is also half as long as most manufacturers offer.
Bottom Line: The Pioneer VSX-823-K is a good deal for AirPlay fans looking for lots of HDMI connectivity, but it falls short on wireless features like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. [Read more]

Good: The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S is a great 11-inch ultraportable touch-screen laptop that also has a flip-around display for tablet and hybrid use.
Bad: Recent 11-inch laptops from Apple and Sony have moved the bar for ultraportables, especially when it comes to battery life. The Yoga 11S needs an upgrade to Intel's latest processors.
Bottom Line: Like the larger 13-inch model, the 11-inch Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S is a useful hybrid that doesn't forget it's a laptop first, but it's stuck with what feels like old hardware for now. [Read more]

Bad: The HTC One Google Play Edition doesn't offer any of the extras found in HTC Sense. The handset's unsubsidized price is expensive.
Bottom Line: The pricey HTC One Google Play Edition's unique blend of premium design, components, and pure Jelly Bean software will only tempt true Android fanatics. [Read more]

Good: The Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition offers users the most powerful hardware specs of any Android phone without any carrier bloatware, and with an elegantly simple Jelly Bean UI.
Bad: Google's Galaxy S4 variant strips away a lot of Samsung's neat software and photo features, and it comes with a steep price tag.
Bottom Line: Unless you're an Android enthusiast or demand total freedom from carriers, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition isn't worth the hefty price. [Read more]
