Good: Sturdily built and appealing to the eyes, AT&T's Samsung DoubleTime has a refreshing design with two screens, a comfortable QWERTY keyboard, and a flip-open design. Call quality was good.
Bad: The DoubleTime's biggest problem is that it runs Android 2.2 Froyo instead of the more current Gingerbread. Its more petite touch screen and pink accent colors won't appeal to everyone, and the camera quality is middling. You can only access the microSD by removing the battery.
Bottom Line: Those of you looking for a more unique, eye-catching design will appreciate the Samsung DoubleTime's petite hinging face with two screens and comfortable keyboard. However, the lower-end specs and outdated Android OS do the phone no favors. [Read more]

Good: Designed to augment the sound of tablets and smartphones, the Logitech Mini Boombox is a very compact--and cute--Bluetooth speaker that has a built-in rechargeable battery, speakerphone capabilities, a line input, and touch controls. Its sound is impressive for its tiny size.
Bad: The Mini Boombox can't handle heavy bass at higher volumes and the glossy finish is prone to showing scratches.
Bottom Line: The Logitech Mini Boombox Bluetooth speaker doesn't sound quite as good as the Jawbone Jambox--or look quite as slick--but it can play loud and has identical features for about half the price. [Read more]

Good: The $20 Logitech Harmony 200 is a well-designed universal remote with great ergonomics. You program it via streamlined wizard-style setup software (Mac or PC) that's optimized for tech novices
Bad: The Harmony 200 only controls three devices and requires a computer with Internet access to configure. For just $40 more, a step-up model adds an LCD screen and uses the activity-based commands that Harmony is known for.
Bottom Line: If you only need to control three devices, the Logitech Harmony 200 is the best universal remote you can buy for under $20. [Read more]

Synology DiskStation DS712+ - NAS server

Good: The Synology DiskStation DS712+ offers a great combination of performance, design, features, and ease of use. The server provides a good all-in-one server and storage package for home or small-business environments.
Bad: The Synology DiskStation DS712+ doesn't support USB 3.0. The server includes only one IP camera license and its setup utility and backup software could be better.
Bottom Line: The DiskStation DS712+ is one of the best dual-bay NAS servers on the market, for both home and office environments. It's also one of the few that offer storage scalability for those who want to start small and add more capacity later. [Read more]

Klipsch Image S4A Headphones

Good: The Klipsch S4A Headphones for Android earn our favor with powerful 8.5mm drivers, comfortable ear tips, and an accompanying Android app that smartphone owners can use to remap the in-line remote controls.
Bad: The headphones perform inconsistently on devices running Android 2.1 and lower.
Bottom Line: Klipsch's ultracomfortable, noise-isolating ear tips are just one of the reasons I love and recommend the S4-series headphones. If you're an Android user shopping for a new pair of earbuds, the Image S4A headphones are definitely worth the $99. [Read more]
