Good: The SanDisk Sansa Clip Zip is an audio Swiss Army Knife that plays most audio formats, works with audiobook and subscription music services, can be used as a voice recorder, and tunes in to FM radio--all for under $50.
Bad: You get what you pay for in terms of construction quality.

Good: The 2012 Honda Civic EX-L's new I-MID puts navigation, trip computer, and media playback information in a safely viewable location. Fuel economy is improved and the cabin is comfortable for extended trips.
Bad: The Econ efficiency mode significantly dulls performance. Navigation maps are low-resolution and difficult to read.
Bottom Line: The 2012 Honda Civic EX-L is an improvement on the previous-generation Civic, but it now faces competition from less expensive, better equipped, or more efficient models. [Read more]
